Tucson Hydrocontrols was established 22 years ago in 1987 with an objective to produce and supply state-of-the-art cartridge valve technology to hydraulic valve users.
The main plant of the company was set up in Umbergaon in the Valsad District of Gujarat, India. The company has steadily grown over the past two decades to now include four plants across Western India. All the plants are built to the highest standards of cleanliness and boast a dust-free environment. The cutting-edge technology deployed at the plants includes CNC vertical machining centers, turning centers, grinding machines and an array of lathes and conventional machine tools.
In its initial years, the Tucson Hydrocontrols' portfolio in 1987 constituted only the Throttle Check valves and Minimess couplings. In 1990, the company tied up with U.K.'s leading cartridge valve manufacturers and by transfer of technology, Tucson was able to produce sophisticated cartridge valves and systems of international quality standards by the early 1990's. The ever-expanding product range now includes Motion Control valves, Flow Control valves, Pressure Control valves, a large range of Proportional Solenoid valves, Ball valves, Check valves and hydraulic accessories.
At the forefront of the company is Pralhad Dabholkar, a hardcore technocrat with over 35 years of experience exclusively in hydraulics and over 25 years in cartridge valve technology, who has complete ownership of the company. He is assisted by his enterprising son Raj Dabholkar who has taken over the reigns of the design and development of new products as well as the proportional valve range of the company's product portfolio.
The Dabholkars' vision of providing unsurpassable quality at the most competitive price, has helped Tucson capture the market for hydraulics in mobile and underground mining applications in the country. Tucson provides a one-to-one replacement option to its customers for valves manufactured by many of the world's leading cartridge valve companies.
Tucson Hydrocontrols' overseas portfolio includes
export of cartridge valves and manifold blocks to Switzerland, the
European Union and the Middle East, providing complete hydraulic
solutions for applications in everything from machine tools to off-shore
refineries. |
