Tucson believes in manufacturing not only its core competencies in house, but also all the components and sub-assemblies that go into making our products. This enables us to maintain a high level of Quality Control. Our manufacturing set up include four Vertical Machining Centers and four Turning Centers running on 24 hour shifts, Band Saws and an array of conventional lathes and pillar drilling machines.
We also do all our grinding and honing in-house with Precision Grinding Machines (both cylindrical and centerless) and a honing machine. To improve on the aesthetics as well as the performance of our products, we powder-coat, anodize, black oxide, zinc plate and heat treat most of our products. These activities are, however, outsourced to ensure that we get the best possible results at the most competitive rate.
Our deburring is done manually to ensure the best possible results and each product is checked twice before assembly and twice afterward. Each and every component that passes through our assembly line is manually deburred to guarantee that we adhere to our stringent Quality Standard. Each product manufactured by Tucson is engraved with the date of manufacturing to allow for full accountability in case the odd defect may arise.
Our CNC Operators are trained on site to ensure that our innovative machining techniques that are taught elsewhere are the basics that they learn.
